The very latest Avatar part, Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025), has recently been available to stream on Disney+. James Cameron’s fantasy film is doing very well there. After a few days, the third part in the series is still the most viewed film on the service in the Netherlands!

We had to wait quite a long time for the streaming release of Avatar: Fire and Ash. The third part of James Cameron’s acclaimed series was released on the big screen at the end of 2025 and was only available on streaming last week. The fantasy film is now being widely viewed on Disney+. Avatar: Fire and Ash is so far the most viewed film on the streaming service!

Where goes Avatar: Fire and Ash over?
After the intense battle in the Water Kingdom, Jake Sully and Neytiri have found a vulnerable new home with the Metkayina clan. But peace on Pandora is a pretense. Colonel Miles Quaritch is still alive, saved by his own son Spider. While Quaritch seeks revenge, the clock is ticking for Jake’s family. Tensions really rise when Neytiri discovers that the murderer of her son Neteyam is still at large and Spider is the key to his survival.

In Avatar: Fire and Ash we see a lot of familiar faces again. For example, Sam Worthington plays Jake Sully again, we see Zoe Saldaña as Neytiri, Sigourney Weaver plays Kiri again and Kate Winslet and Stephen Lang are also present. James Cameron, who wrote the entire Avatarseries, has two more sequels planned! Unfortunately, it is not yet known when exactly they will appear in cinemas.
