Two people climbed the Empire State Building in New York on Wednesday, carrying a banner in favor of world peace and love.
In a video broadcast by CNN, two masked people dressed in black can be seen holding up a banner that reads: “When the power of love surpasses the love of power, the world knows peace.”
According to initial reports, the people appeared to be engaged.
It is currently unclear how the couple managed to reach the 443 meter peak.
Dozens of police officers are deployed on the scene.
