Netflix has been busy lately working on the third season of One Piece (2023– ). The film adaptation of the beloved manga returns with new episodes and the filming of this new chapter, which One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta called, have now been completed.

Netflix announces that the filming of the third season of One Pieceofficially titled The Battle of Alabastahave been completed. The new episodes are coming faster than expected, because right after the release of the second part, Netflix already announced that production for a new season was already in full swing. They are already there now!

The streaming service shares the happy news with a first look One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta. Just before filming on season 3 wrapped, the crew gathered on set in Cape Town for a special update. Check out the latest photo of the Straw Hats below, featuring Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), Nami (Emily Rudd), Zoro (Mackenyu), Usopp (Jacob Romero), Sanji (Taz Skylar) and Princess Vivi (Charithra Chandran).

Where goes One Piece season 3 left?
Season 3 is entirely dedicated to the denouement of the Alabasta saga. This new chapter brings the immensely popular storyline to life. With the country on the brink of civil war, Luffy and his crew race to help Vivi save her homeland. They take on the shadowy Baroque Works. In addition to a lot of new faces, familiar characters such as Vivi and the mighty Crocodile take center stage this season.
