What does the UN evacuation plan include?
Officially launched on Tuesday June 23, 2026, the emergency plan provides secure exit routes for the 500 to 600 commercial ships stuck in the Strait of Hormuz since February 28, the date the United States entered the war against Iran. This device is a direct consequence of the memorandum of understanding signed just a week ago between Washington and Tehran.
