
In the west and southwest of Germany, temperatures have been above 32°C for five days, and they could cross the 40°C mark by the end of the week. Unheard of in a country accustomed to high heat, due to its continental climate. According to forecasters, the historic record of 41.2°C recorded on July 25, 2019 in two locations in the west of the country could fall in the coming days.
