
Are magistrates untouchable? Since the start of the Lyhanna affair, it has been a little music that has come back insistently, fueled by certain editorialists or political leaders. “The sanctioning mechanisms for magistrates do not work”, affirmed for example on June 6, in Le Parisien, Bruno Retailleau, Republican candidate for the next presidential election. “In around fifteen years, only one sanction, in this case a reprimand, has been taken,” added the former Minister of the Interior.
