Having triumphantly come to power on July 5, 2024, Keir Starmer will have stayed less than two years at 10 Downing Street. On Monday June 22, the British Prime Minister announced his resignation during a speech in front of Downing Street in London, specifying that he would remain in office until his successor was appointed as head of Labor. His position had become untenable after the election on Thursday to Parliament of his rival within Labor, Andy Burnham, now in a position to run for his position.
