Every week
A poem for the road
The smells of the evening
Rise from the earth
Like a reminiscence
Of the day.
Borage smells
And broken clods
In the hands of men.
A nothing of life
And suddenly,
The fertile nudity of labor.
Everything rests and remains
In the agreed order
Seasons.
