
With a quick and precise movement, Harouna Sow cuts yellow peppers, while keeping an eye on her team who are packing the couscous dishes ready to be sent to a food aid distribution. This refugee from Mauritania was not destined for cooking, but here he is, chef trainer in the kitchens of Refugee Food. Located in the Salvation Army City of Refuge, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, these kitchens produce nearly 800 food aid meals per day, thanks to a brigade of around twenty refugees in integration.
