Cécile Dubernet: I think this is classic war propaganda which only shows a narrow and biased version of reality. The government of Vladimir Putin seeks the destruction of Europe and democracy by any means. But hammering home the idea of the return of high-intensity war is intended to scare. When we are afraid, reflection is paralyzed, and this makes us manipulable. We then obey the injunctions: vote on the budgets, join the army, obey, accept the dead. Above all, do not question what we are defending, and do not imagine that there could be alternatives.
