General Montgros and Admiral Cluzel, new heads of the Army and Navy

Admiral Christophe Cluzel will succeed Admiral Nicolas Vaujour as Chief of Staff of the French Navy.

It was expected, it’s now official. The Minister of the Armed Forces Catherine Vautrin announced, on the evening of June 18, the appointment “in a few days” of the new Chief of Staff of the Army (Cemat), General Jacques Langlade de Montgros, and of the new Chief of Staff of the National Navy (Cemm), Vice-Admiral Christophe Cluzel. The first will succeed General Pierre Schill, and the second will succeed Admiral Nicolas Vaujour.
