As the press crisis worsens, the unions of journalists and press professions – the National Union of Journalists (SNJ), the SNJ-CGT, the CFDT-Journalistes, the SGJ-FO, the Filpac-CGT, the SNPEP-FO, and Info’Com-CGT – are calling for a day of strike, and a national demonstration (1) this Thursday, June 18 in Paris. The procession will leave from Place de la Bourse at 11 a.m., to the Ministry of Culture where speeches are expected. “Demand” round tables are also planned from 2:30 p.m. at the Labor Exchange.
