A cat was invited onto the stage of a theater last Wednesday in Izmir, Türkiye, where the ballet was performed Romeo and Juliet the William Shakespeare.
A video shared on social media and obtained by CNN shows the feline entering near the actors during the most dramatic moment of the play, at the very end, when Juliet discovers that Romeo has died.
The cat sat next to the performer playing the role of Romeo and even played with his hair.
This would not be the first time that animals have appeared among the actors of this Russian ballet troupe named Prokofiev.
In another video shared on Instagram, another cat came to visit them during a rehearsal.
