
The actor and stuntman Christian Bujeau, who has appeared in supporting roles since the 1970s, including his character of the dentist, husband of Béatrice de Montmirail played by Valérie Lemercier in “Les Visiteurs”, died at the age of 81, his artistic agent announced on Monday June 15.
Trained at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Paris, Christian Bujeau also played the recurring role of the fencing master in the series “Kaamelott”. A prolific actor in cinema, television and theater, he has played in numerous successful series including “Josephine Guardian Angel”, “Caméra Café”, “Louis la Brocante”, “The Last Five Minutes”, “A Woman of Honor”, “Scènes de households”, etc.
In the cinema, he also appeared in “La Vérité si je mens 2”, “Alibi.com” and “Pédale Douce”. Christian Bujeau, who started his career as a stuntman, played in the theater in plays by Sacha Guitry, Eugène Ionesco, Jean Anouilh, Georges Feydeau and Luigi Pirandello.
In 2012, the actor, who also directed several plays, starred in the musical “Sister Act”.
