A 14-year-old boy was arrested on Friday in Boston, United States, after robbing the lemonade stand of two young children.
A 12-year-old boy, David, and his 11-year-old sister, Juliette, had set up a small lemonade stand at the edge of the sidewalk of their street to earn a little pocket money, according to information from the New York Post.
Two teenagers then approached them. One took out a firearm hidden in his belt, while the other grabbed the two children’s cash register, which contained around fifty dollars.
David said he almost protested, but quickly realized the situation and told the two teens to take the register.
His sister simply raised her arms, according to the American media.
The two children then left their kiosk to tell their father the situation, who immediately called the police.
One of the two robbers was arrested and faces charges of armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm in Boston Juvenile Court.
However, his identity remains confidential, given his age.
The second suspect is still wanted by the police.
