In a concerted effort, Paris and London have decided to move up a gear in the face of the Russian “ghost fleet”, this armada of boats displaying more or less fanciful flags to circumvent the sanctions decreed by the Europeans against the regime of Vladimir Putin engaged in a merciless war in Ukraine for more than four years. On Sunday June 14, British forces intercepted an oil tanker in the Channel, in “close collaboration” with France, the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense clarified.
