
How to fight against medical deserts? While 87% of the territory is classified as an area under-resourced with doctors, political responses are multiplying without reaching consensus. The government is banking on sending volunteer general practitioners as reinforcements. Part of the Senate, through a bill proposed by Philippe Mouiller (LR), wishes to condition the installation of new general practitioners in the best-resourced areas on part-time exercise in a medical desert.
