The results of the presidential election on Sunday June 7, 2026 are still awaited, while the two candidates are neck and neck. The counting of the second round “could take between two weeks and the end of the month” declared Tuesday evening, June 9, the director of the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE). It took thirty-three days to know the verdict of the first round of the presidential election.
