Alain Rémond’s chronicle
Let us, if you wish, make two observations. First: lots of people in the street talk to lots of dogs (preferably their own). Second: even more people on the street are talking on their cell phones. Take Paris, for example. There are around 100,000 dogs there. The highest density of dogs per square kilometer in the world. Impressive, right? As for how many people have cell phones in Paris, I haven’t found the figure. Let’s say, roughly, as many as Parisians. Or 2.3 million. So you have 100,000 people talking to their dogs. And 2.1 million who talk on their phones. Just in Paris.
