The Israeli army announced early Tuesday that it had intercepted a new “suspicious aerial target coming from Yemen”, less than 24 hours after the Houthi rebels installed in this country and allies of Iran claimed an attack against Israel and decreed a ban on Israeli navigation in the Red Sea, another strategic maritime route.
“A suspicious air target originating from Yemen has been intercepted. The incident is closed. No injuries were reported,” the army said, adding that the interception took place in the Eilat region.
6:30 a.m. – Resumption of flights at Tehran Imam Khomeini Airport
