
The French telecoms landscape is about to radically change. This Saturday, June 6, Bouygues Télécom, Orange and Free announced that they had agreed to buy SFR from its parent company, Altice France. For more than twenty billion euros, the three telephony giants will distribute the red square brand, sector by sector. This is the largest operation in telecoms since the takeover of Orange by France Telecom for 39 billion euros in 2000.
