May 27, 2026. The sun beats against the windows of the air-conditioned meeting room. As if he himself wanted to take refuge to escape the sudden spring heat. The outside temperature exceeds 30°C. An unprecedented heat wave for the month of May in France. The Kalifornia building, which houses the editorial staff of La Croix in the Paris suburbs, has never lived up to its name so well. And, by chance, today is a training day… on climate issues! Stunned by the heat of my last nights of insomnia, heated by my allergic reactions to the stinging processionary caterpillars which proliferate in my corner of the forest – favored by the extreme heat, they have gathered in powdery and downy clusters on the trunks of the oaks -, here I am in a perfect state of receptivity to awareness messages.
