The British Actor Bill Nighy, known for, among other things Love Actually (2003), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) in About Time (2013), is cast in Cainethe new spin-off from John Wick (2014). Filming has now started and is taking place in both Budapest and Hong Kong.
The blind assassin
About the plot of Caine few details have been released yet. So far we know that the story takes place after the events of John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023) and the blind assassin Caine follows. The role of Caine will be played by Donnie Yen. At the end of the previous film, he was finally freed from his obligations to the High Table, the powerful organization that controls the underworld of the John Wick franchise.
In the midst of violence again
The new film centers on Caine’s life after his freedom, as he is once again drawn into the violence and conflicts of his past. In addition to Caine, we also see Akira again, played again by Rina Sawayama. She holds Caine responsible for the death of her father Koji. Nighy has confirmed that he is joining the cast of this action film. Details about his character have been deliberately kept secret until now.
