
The High Court of Kenya on Friday, May 29, suspended the project to install a quarantine center for American nationals exposed to the Ebola virus, which is raging in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and in Uganda. A constitutional rights organization, Katiba Institute, denounced “serious and imminent risks” to public health and filed a complaint. After the verdict, the United States said it “remains optimistic that the objections will be resolved.”
