
The annual report of the general controller of places of deprivation of liberty (CGLPL), published Thursday May 28, deplores that a “very small proportion” of prisoners have access to work, a key factor in reintegration. The cause is prison overcrowding which lengthens waiting lists and private companies that are difficult to mobilize despite the leadership of the Chancellery.
