The very first trailer of Avengers: Doomsday (2026) has attracted many viewers. The first images of the highly anticipated Marvel film have already been viewed more than half a billion within 24 hours. That’s a record for Disney!
More than half a billion views
Marvel has released the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday was released and it has not gone unnoticed. The first footage of the Marvel film has more than 503 million views within 24 hours. With more than half a billion views, the trailer is the second most viewed trailer in a day ever. Only the first trailer of Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026) attracted slightly more within 24 hours with 719 million views. The trailer of Avengers: Doomsday is Disney’s most viewed trailer ever.
Robert Downey Jr.
In the first trailer, we see how well-known heroes gather to take on Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) in a massive and devastating war across the multiverse. In this war, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) takes on the villain and is reunited with Captain America. This makes Chris Evans’ return to Marvel officially a fact. We last saw him as Steve Rogers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Avengers: Endgame (2019), but fortunately his farewell did not last forever.

In ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ beloved heroes from three different universes are brought together and find themselves in an inevitable and death-defying confrontation with an existential threat unlike anything they have ever experienced before.

We also see various characters from the X-Menfilms that officially make their debut in the Avengers universe. We see Professor Xavier, Magneto, Mystique, Cyclops and Channing Tatum’s Gambit. It certainly doesn’t stop there, because the Fantastic Four, led by Pedro Pascal’s character Mr. Fantastic, and the Thunderbolts (also known as the New Avengers), led by Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, also appear in Avengers: Doomsday.
