A large number of popular Netflix series will return with a new season this fall. These are long-awaited favorite series whose return was doubted and recent audience favorites. New seasons of the series below can be expected in the coming months.
Lupin – season 4
After a break of more than three years, there was some doubt whether Lupin (2021– ) would return for a fourth season. The series is now officially back on the schedule and expectations are high.

Emily in Paris – season 6
Emily in Paris (2020– ) has been Netflix’s guilty pleasure series for many years. The internet is now full of photos from the filming, once again showing the striking clothing of the cast. The sixth and final season brings Emily to Rome, although her love for Paris remains strong.

The Gentlemen – season 2
Guy Ritchie will soon return with the second season of his crime comedy The Gentlemen (2024– ). The first images once again exude the stylish, raw atmosphere that made the first season so popular. Fans of the series can’t wait for the new stories of Eddie and his criminal world.

Black Doves – season 2
British actress Keira Knightley will soon be seen again as spy Helen Webb in the series Black Doves (2024– ). It has now been almost two years since the first season appeared, but the enthusiasm surrounding the espionage has hardly diminished since then.

3 Body Problem – season 2
3 Body Problem (2024– ) is one of Netflix’s most expensive series and will return with a new season later this year. The recordings started about a year ago. In addition to familiar faces, several new characters also make an appearance in the science fiction story.

Nobody Wants This – season 3
For Netflix it is Nobody Wants This (2024– ) now a no-brainer. While some series have to wait years for a new season, it comes Nobody Wants This within two years again with the third season. The romantic comedy is being devoured at a rapid pace by subscribers and is one of the streaming service’s most popular feel-good series.
Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 – season 2
Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 (2026– ) appeared at the perfect time and fills the gap that Stranger Things (2016–2025) after ten years. Although the reviews are divided, the viewing figures appear to be strong enough to give the animated series a second season.

The Witcher – season 5
Since the departure of Henry Cavill, the makers of The Witcher (2019– ) has faced a lot of criticism. The fourth season was even labeled a parody by some viewers. For the fifth and final season, Netflix is doing everything it can to end the series on a worthy note.

The Diplomat – season 4
The makers of The Diplomat (2023– ) previously promised that the fourth season will be full of surprises. As if that wasn’t enough reason to be excited, Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford are also joining as regular cast members.

The Empress – season 3
The Empress (2022– ) hit like a bomb upon its release and became one of Netflix’s biggest international successes. The series received much praise and was awarded an Emmy. For the third and final season, the makers are once again pulling out all the stops with recordings in the Czech Republic, Bavaria and surprising locations in Spain.

North of North – season 2
North of North (2025– ) grew rapidly into an international success. The comedy achieved a rare score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, reached the Netflix top 10 in 33 countries and attracted millions of viewers. The series also won several awards, meaning a second season could quickly be confirmed.
