
Stretching from Teknaf to Cox’s Bazar, the extreme southern tip of Bangladesh forms a narrow strip of land, sandwiched between the border river Naf and the long beaches of the Bay of Bengal. On the sand, waiting for the tide, rest the fishermen’s boats, with half-moon hulls, proud silhouettes decorated with colorful pennants.
