Want some freshness in these scorching weather? Run to the Marmottan Museum to discover – until August 16 – the first French retrospective dedicated to Giovanni Segantini (1858-1899)! His painting breathes the invigorating air of the mountains, when it is not adorned with a coat of snow. A discovery for the Parisian public who had only been able to admire a handful of his works in 2021 at the Musée d’Orsay in an exhibition on “Swiss Modernities”.
