The popular monster family returns to the silver screen. Sony Pictures has announced a fifth next year Hotel Transylvania (2012) film released, in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. The new animated film, titled The Haunting of Hotel Transylvaniais directed by Jennifer Kluska and Alan Hawkins, the duo behind Hotel Transylvania: Transformania (2022).

On social media, Sony Pictures shared a drawn version of Mavis with the caption: “Your room is ready. The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania can be seen exclusively in cinemas from October 8, 2027.🧛”
Mysterious events
In the new film, Dracula has retired in peace, while his daughter Mavis is in charge of the legendary Hotel Transylvania. However, the peace is short-lived when strange and inexplicable events turn the hotel upside down. Together with the rest of the family, Dracula searches for the truth behind the mysterious ghost phenomena that plague the hotel.
‘Hotel Transylvania’ is one of those rare franchises that has become a beloved tradition for families around the world, a film series that has always found a balance between irreverent humor and heartfelt emotion.

The first ‘Hotel Transylvania (2012) was published in 2012 and became a worldwide success. Also the sequels Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015) in Hotel Transylvania 3 (2018) did an excellent job. The most recent part, ‘Hotel Transylvania: Transformania (2022), released exclusively on Prime Video in 2022.
