
While the fire which ravaged the region of Almeria, in Andalusia (southern Spain) is now stabilized and contained, allowing the return home of the thousand evacuated residents, the toll of the disaster is dramatic: twelve people have died, most of them foreign residents, trapped in the flames. The Spanish authorities have still not communicated their identity, awaiting the results of biological samples sent to Madrid, to carry out DNA analyses.
