Iran on Tuesday deemed “unacceptable” its accusation by Qatar for an attack the day before, strongly condemned by Doha, against one of the emirate’s LNG tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.
The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baghai, described the accusations of Qatar, which summoned the Iranian charge d’affaires to protest, as “questionable, contrary to the principle of good neighborliness” and “unacceptable”, reported the official Iranian news agency.
