
Second report to tackle the subject in two weeks, the one that the Court of Auditors made public on July 6, 2026 draws up a harsh assessment of the management of human resources in air traffic control. Among the twelve recommendations associated with it, some, such as calling into question the civil servant status of controllers, are highly sensitive. If the Court underlines that “France became the worst student in Europe for aircraft delays for all causes in 2023 and has since maintained this position”, it particularly criticizes the results of one of the French air traffic control sites: the Center en route de la navigation air (CRNA) Sud-Est, based in Aix-en-Provence.
