At the beach as elsewhere, teenage gangs always have their epicenter, around the “popular” girls and boys, and their margins. This is where Marouane (Hadrien Hussein), 17, is located, in the Landes campsite where he returns every summer with his family. When the other young people happily throw themselves into the water, he remains behind on the sand, without taking off his t-shirt, a clear sign of his inability to belong to the group and to fully enjoy a vacation that is about to end.
