The Dane Jonas Vingegaard dons the first yellow jersey of the 113th edition of the Tour de France after the victory of his team Visma-Lease a bike in the team time trial, Saturday July 4 in Barcelona.
Thanks to the finish of its leader, the Dutch team won the time trial with 8 seconds ahead of the Netcompany Ineos team led by the Italian Filippo Ganna, while the Frenchman Kévin Vauquelin had a puncture, and 12 seconds over the UAE team of Tadej Pogacar, the outgoing double winner.

Paul Seixas, who like most of the leaders finished alone the work, finished 39 seconds behind with his Decathlon CMA CGM team during this time trial where the times were taken individually from each rider for the general classification.

Sunday’s stage
For their second day of the Tour, the riders will leave from Tarragona, Spain, for 168.5 km. After a rather flat start to the route, cyclists will join more winding roads, strewn with more climbs and descents. The gaps should widen in Montjuïc, at the most difficult stage, which will end in Barcelona.
