Singer Taylor Swift officially said yes, and in a big way, last night to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce during a multi-million dollar ceremony in front of more than 1,000 guests.
“JUST&T MARRIED”, we could read yesterday in large letters on the signs in the center of New York, in reference to the initials of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce a little before 7:30 p.m. yesterday. A few minutes earlier, the couple said yes during a grandiose ceremony at Madison Square Garden, in front of an audience of renowned guests.

It was around 7:30 p.m. Friday evening that famous singer Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce announced that they had gotten married in the heart of New York.

It was around 6:30 p.m. that the singer first arrived in a gray Chevrolet Suburban before rushing into the famous amphitheater and joining her new husband.

And it would be the famous actor Adam Sandler who would have officiated “the wedding of the century” of the couple who was entirely dressed by the French haute couture brand Dior, Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewelry as indicated by the singer’s agent, Tree Paine.
Rather than having numerous bridesmaids and groomsmen, the two brides and grooms chose to only have their respective brothers, Austin Swift and Jason Kelce, at their side.
Several streets around the arena were closed to traffic and more than 150 officers from the New York City Police Department were dispatched to the area around the arena on Friday to ensure the security of the event.

In all, more than 1,000 guests were present within the confines of the famous performance hall, transformed for the occasion into a green forest and a garden with lush flowers.
The impressive list of invitations included the names of Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Dakota Johnson, Zoë Kravitz and many athletes. Hundreds of fans waited patiently for hours in the sun to watch all the arrivals.

A wedding for millions
According to initial estimates from Forbes magazine, the couple would have spent more than 20 million US dollars, in addition to the $26 million paid to charities on Thursday, to celebrate the happiest day of their life, in the heart of the Big Apple.
Huge tents were also erected early in the morning to cover the entrance to the amphitheater and thus preserve the identity of certain guests present at the ceremony.

Each guest had to sign a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement, in addition to having their phone confiscated, in order to preserve as much secrecy surrounding this evening as possible. All invitations would also have been subject to individual authentication in order to facilitate the identification of the source in the event of a leak.
Diamond flutes
In anticipation of their big night, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce held a private rehearsal at Madison Square Garden the day before, this time with around a hundred guests. Each of them would have left with a luxurious champagne flute adorned with real diamonds.
