The countdown to the new film from Oppenheimer director Christopher Nolan is in full swing. Another week or two and then you can go see it in the cinema The Odyssey (2026), the epic story of the homeward journey of the Greek hero Odysseus. Today the makers have come up with a brand new trailer.
Psychological violence
“Don’t you remember?”, the soft voice of Zendaya (Athena) sounds under the images. The desire to return home is accompanied by flashes of death and destruction in the psyche of Odysseus (Matt Damon) – the battlefield of the Trojan War, and the flames of Troy. The Odyssey This makes it not only an adventure film with the necessary action, but also a drama about a man who has to endure a lot to find peace.
Ensemblecast
In the trailer we see several stars in the roles that Nolan has in store for them: Anne Hathaway as Odysseus’ wife Penelope, Tom Holland as son Telemachus and Robert Pattinson as a so-called suitor on Penelope’s island. The thirteenth film of the Oppenheimermaker will clock in at 172 minutes and is filmed entirely with IMAX cameras.

After the fall of Troy, Odysseus, king of Ithaca, begins a long and dangerous journey back home. During this journey he and his crew are confronted with various creatures such as the sirens, the cyclops Polyphemos and Circe, the daughter of the sun god.
