The Spanish administration will have to manage more than 1.3 million requests, as announced by migrant aid associations and the Catholic Church, called to the rescue to process migrants’ regularization files. No one yet knows how many of these requests will be accepted, but one thing is certain: this process, the seventh since Spain’s return to democracy, is by far the largest and responds, according to the government of Pedro Sanchez, to a “real necessity”.
