This is the number of subscribers that this Instagram account, whose logo represents a woman curled up and engraved on a gold signet ring, has attracted in two months of existence. 4,000 is both small (on the scale of the social network), and enormous, given the “niche” content relayed by “@Tabouscathos”: each post contains one or more anonymous testimonies (obtained via a form on the account page) of physical, sexual violence or social control (in short, taboos) experienced in the “cathosphere” – including a bourgeois Catholic environment, often traditionalist, but not only that.
