
On Tuesday, June 23, a grain of sand disrupted the third reading examination by the National Assembly of the proposed law on assistance in dying, an exercise which until now appeared to be a simple formality. Without warning, this grain of sand entered the hemicycle when the debate resumed in the evening, while the deputies were still discussing article 2 defining what this new right is that the text claims to establish.
