Portugal – Uzbekistan (5-0): Portugal swept Uzbekistan (5-0) in Houston in Group K of the 2026 World Cup, with a double from Cristiano Ronaldo, who at 41 became the only man to have scored in six World Cups.

England – Ghana (0-0): Harry Kane’s England was held to a 0-0 draw by Ghana, after struggling for 90 minutes against an ultra-reinforced defense and missing huge opportunities at the very end of the match.
With four points in two matches, like their evening opponents, the Three Lions are in a strong position in this group L of the 2026 World Cup, but they will have to succeed in their last outing against Panama on Saturday (9:00 p.m. GMT) to definitively validate their ticket for the 16th finals.
Panama – Croatia (1-0): Croatia, for the 200th match in Luka Modric’s selection, relaunched in the 2026 World Cup after an initial defeat against England, by beating (1-0) Panama, eliminated at the same time, in Toronto.
The Croatians, who won thanks to a goal from Ante Budimir scored at the start of the second half, took 3rd place in group L, one point behind the English and the Ghanaians who remained back to back (0-0) earlier in Boston.
Colombia – DR Congo (1-0): Colombia qualified for the round of 16 of the World Cup, beating the Democratic Republic of Congo 1-0 in Guadalajara, thanks to a goal from Daniel Munoz at the end of the match.
Thanks to this second victory in as many matches, Nestor Lorenzo’s men will only need a draw against Portugal on Saturday in Miami to secure first place in Group K.
Today’s program
From this evening, the last group matches of the same group will be played at an identical time in order to ensure sporting fairness. Thus, from 9 p.m., Switzerland will face Canada, when Bosnia will face Qatar.
At midnight, the two Scotland-Brazil and Morocco-Haiti matches will take place simultaneously. Finally at 3 o’clock, it will be possible to watch Czechia against Mexico or South Africa against South Korea.
