On Friday June 19, the weekly Famille Chrétienne revealed the request made by the Vatican to suspend the examination of the beatification file of Claire de Castelbajac. “This pause means that it is necessary to continue, for the promoters of the cause of Claire de Castelbajac, the work accomplished so far,” affirms Father Bernard Ardura, himself a postulator to the Vatican for the young woman who died at the age of 21 in 1975. “It is a time intended to deepen the cause, that is to say the understanding of the figure of holiness in its historical, cultural and ecclesial context,” he specifies.
