Apart from cacti and other succulents, our plants hate this excess heat, although some know how to retreat, like cistus and most Mediterranean plants. They go into semi-rest, or even rest, in summer. Above all, don’t touch it, don’t water it! Having flowered magnificently from April until now, they seem tried and tested. Their foliage curls up, without falling. But they are not dying! From September, with the first rains and cooler nights, the foliage will rehydrate and green up. Watering would be harmful.
