Produced between January 2025 and May 2026 in the Gaza Strip, his documentary work shows the daily lives of civilians caught up in the conflict. The suffering, but also the resilience, of displaced families, children, the wounded, of all those whose lives have been turned upside down by the war. Photojournalist Khames Alrefi received the ICRC’s Humanitarian Golden Visa.
