
When Ali arrived in France to request asylum, he did not think that he would find himself waiting for his decision in a reception center in Corrèze. “I come from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. In comparison, it’s very calm here,” smiles the thirty-year-old, looking at the city of Tulle which is buzzing around him. After a few weeks in Paris, where he registered his asylum application, this former electronics salesman was directed to Limoges, then to the Corrèze prefecture, where he left at the beginning of May.
