Sébastien Lecornu engaged in a “transparency” operation on Thursday June 11 during a press conference dedicated to “protecting the democratic debate against foreign digital interference”. “The risk was significant in the municipal elections, without major effect”, and suggests “prospects of serious threats to the presidential election”, warned the Prime Minister, in a context where other European countries – Romania, Germany, Moldova and Armenia – have been affected by interference and disinformation campaigns.
