Just after a ferry docks in an Icelandic fishing village, a mutilated corpse washes up. Police Commissioner Andri suspects that the perpetrator is on board and therefore closes the port as quickly as possible. But when a heavy snowstorm breaks out that same day, the village becomes completely cut off from the outside world. No one can get in, no one can get out. While the killer is among the inhabitants, the idyllic village turns into an icy trap where everyone is a suspect and a potential victim.
