
Seventeen is the average number of packages that a resident of Île-de-France receives each year, according to estimates from a report from the Paris Region Institute (IPR), published Thursday June 4. In total, 315 million small packages, weighing between 200 grams and three kilos, were delivered in this region in 2025, almost 4% more than in 2024. Of this mass of packages, two thirds were ordered by individuals, often on e-commerce platforms.
