But for the two million blind or visually impaired taxpayers, who most often use voice synthesis and navigate using a keyboard (without a mouse), it is impossible to file their tax returns on the Internet. Long tables of numbers are not structured for vocalization software, messaging does not open without a mouse click… A blind or visually impaired person is therefore forced to ask for help from a loved one, or even pay someone to assist them.
