When will La Caverne de JR, this inflatable trompe-l’oeil evoking a mountain range covering the Pont-Neuf, open to the Parisian public? The press release, sent on June 4, 2026 by the artist’s team, remains vague on this point but does specify the repairs to be carried out after the gust of wind which damaged the work on June 2, two days before its opening. This installation, 120 meters long and 18 meters high, is a tribute to the Pont-Neuf built in 1985 by Jeanne-Claude and Christo.
